  • Over 100 illegal alien truck drivers were arrested in California.
  • Deadly crashes involving drivers licensed under Newsom’s policies raised alarms.
  • ICE says thousands of CDLs were given to illegals, risking public safety.

Federal agents rounded up more than 100 illegal alien truck drivers on California highways, acting after several deadly wrecks tied to commercial licenses issued under Governor Newsom’s watch.

Officials say these illegal alien drivers, licensed in California, were found behind the wheel in multiple fatal crashes across the country.

“Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary state policies are costing American lives,” ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan said.

The operation, called Highway Sentinel, saw arrests of individuals from countries like India, Mexico, Colombia, and others.

“His government knowingly issued thousands of CDLs to illegal aliens who had no business driving at all, let alone behind the wheel of a massive semi-truck,” Sheahan added.

ICE claims their latest sweep follows actions in Oklahoma and Indiana to clean up the roads from these dangerous drivers.

California reportedly handed out CDLs to foreigners who couldn’t read English or the road signs, causing concern nationwide.

The sweep targeted trucking outfits in central and northern California suspected of deeper criminal involvement.

The trucking industry is said to be tied to crimes like human smuggling and narcotics trafficking, according to ICE.

Of the 101 arrested, all remain in ICE custody awaiting legal proceedings.

Earlier this year, an Indian national with a California license caused a fatal Florida crash after flunking road tests multiple times, sparking a lawsuit by Florida against California and Washington for endangering public safety.
