Wyatt’s Take

  • Marjorie Taylor Greene faced criticism for hosting a hearing on weather control.
  • Government and private projects in geoengineering are well documented.
  • Major donors and scientists are actively funding climate intervention experiments.

Marjorie Taylor Greene drew fire from climate activists and media for holding a congressional hearing on geoengineering, asking tough questions about government weather interventions. Despite critics’ mockery, Greene laid out proven facts about weather modification efforts stretching back decades.

Greene’s hearing, titled “Playing God With The Weather — A Disastrous Forecast,” brought attention to real programs the U.S. and others have supported since 1947. In testimony, meteorologist Chris Martz listed many official projects, including cloud seeding programs confirmed by the EPA in states like Texas, California, and North Dakota.

Martz explained, “Nine U.S. states currently facilitate active cloud seeding programs: California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, although most of these are funded by the state or local-level governments.”

It’s a fact that government-backed experiments in managing weather are ongoing. Major institutions, including universities, are running climate intervention projects, openly discussed in mainstream publications.

Last year, the New York Times described how scientists are dispersing mist into the air to brighten clouds and bounce sunlight away from Earth, aiming to reduce the planet’s temperature. Experiments called “stratospheric aerosol injection” and “marine cloud brightening” are getting attention worldwide.

Even billionaires are getting involved. Bill Gates has funded research for almost 20 years, backing studies into reflecting the sun’s rays. Forbes reported on his support for a project spraying calcium carbonate dust into the sky to counteract global warming effects.

Geoengineering isn’t some conspiracy. Global conferences and groups now debate rules for these projects, as seen in coverage by the World Economic Forum.

Climate intervention is no longer a tabloid topic. Even critics can’t deny the facts: Weather control and geoengineering experiments are happening, backed by state and private money alike.
