January 1, Pennsylvania Ballot Decision Sparks Controversy in Swing County

Published

on

In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, something surprising happened. Two Democrat commissioners, Diane Ellis-Marseglia and Robert Harvie, voted to count some ballots that were either missing dates or had the wrong dates. This decision came even though Pennsylvania’s highest court said those kinds of ballots shouldn’t be counted. They made this choice while Democrat Bob Casey is getting ready for a recount after losing to Republican Dave McCormick by about 25,000 votes.

Now, this isn’t just a small matter. Bucks County is really important because it can swing either way—a bit like a seesaw. Lots of folks came to the meeting and said it wasn’t right to count these misdated or undated ballots. But Ellis-Marseglia didn’t agree with them. She actually said, “courts don’t matter anymore because people break laws whenever they want.” She isn’t afraid to break this rule because she wants the courts to take another look.

This isn’t just happening in Bucks County. Other places in Pennsylvania, like Centre County and Philadelphia County, are doing the same thing by counting these ballots. But many people, including the Bucks County GOP, think this is wrong, and they’re working with top Republican lawyers to fix it.

Dave McCormick and his Republican friends have filed lawsuits because they believe this decision is unjust. Interestingly, Marc Elias, a Democrat lawyer known for controversial cases, is helping the Democrats. He’s been involved in stuff before that some folks think helped Democrats win elections, like when Al Franken won back in 2008.

All this is causing a bit of a ruckus with Republicans banding together to make sure the rules are followed. The commissioners who made the decision haven’t said anything more about it yet, but this situation still has lots of people talking and concerned about the importance of lawful elections.

Wyatt Matters!

In Bucks County, there’s a lot of chatter about counting ballots that don’t have the right dates. Some folks, including the commissioners, think it’s okay to count them, even though the big court said not to. They believe that it’s important to make sure every vote gets a second look and hope the courts will change their mind. But many people, especially those who follow the rules strictly, are worried about this decision. They feel uneasy because it seems like the rules are being ignored.

It’s not just a local issue. Other places in Pennsylvania are also deciding to count similar ballots, which has caused a mix of reactions. Some think these counties are doing the right thing by making sure all voices are heard, while others think it’s not fair. This has led to a tussle between different groups about what should and shouldn’t happen in elections.

In the end, many are watching this situation closely. On one side, there’s an attempt to ensure that everyone who tried to vote gets counted, even if they made mistakes. On the other side, there’s concern over sticking to the rules to keep elections fair. This debate is making people really think about what’s most important: following the rules exactly or being flexible to make sure everyone’s voice counts.

Those two DEMOCRAT Commissioners NEED to be thrown in PRISON! . . . Typical DEMOCRAT – they DON’T get their way and so they break Constitutional Law as they see fit. The RULE of LAW was written for a REASON.

Yep, when the courts take another look like she wants, they will likely jail her for contempt.

Guess rules were made to be broken! It is the VOTERS’ (ALL PARTIES) responsibility to make sure their votes are submitted legally! Those Commissioners should be removed. What else have they done that was illegal? Their integrity is now in question about everything they have done…past and present!

The srate supreme court rule should be enforced. Put these two people in jail for advocating breaking the law period. Democrats = lie, cheat, steal and now ignore the law.

Concur – Any election official that openly advocates counting vote that the PA supreme court deems to be invalid should be immediately removed from office and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. A few years in prison for breaking the law will probably change their outlook in life. The rules were well publicized. There is no excuse.

It would also influence anyone who tried to do the same in the future.

If the Democrats consider themselves to be so apart from he laws that govern the land as to make hem totally unaccountable to the law, why are we wasting our time, money and energy by even HAVING any type of laws that would be expected to be RESPECTED by everyone concerned?

The Court Should step in and end the election with the current vote count as the final tally.
If the commissioners proceed with going against the ruling of the courts, every conservative voter
in the state who properly and legally voted should file a class action suit against them for damage.

As a resident of and a voter in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I am wondering why our Governor is staying so silent on this issue? Not a peep out of him. I wonder why? Is he afraid of being on the wrong side? We are paying an additional $1 million for this recount, and I am Ok with the recount, but we should not be counting ballots that do not fit the criteria!

Real and complete poetic justice would be McCormick winning by a biger margin and the two commissioners recalled or found guilty in court.

It is just this kind of lawlessness that makes you wonder just how legit was the 2020 election. Since they are no longer concerned trying to hide it anymore, it’s time to hold everyone of them accountable. As far as the re-count, they need to change the difference so as to save the taxpayers. What is theirs in order to trigger a recount, .5%?

The overwhelming results of this election in most sane people’s minds remove any doubt about the 2020 fiasco. Just think how much better off our country would be plus some people who have been victimized or even killed by illegals would be safe.
