January 1, Trump Guilty on All Counts, Unprecedented Consequences Loom
Former President Trump has been found guilty on all counts in a historic and unprecedented criminal trial. He is the first former president of the United States to be convicted of a crime. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.
Despite pleading not guilty, jurors found the former president guilty on all counts. Each count carries a maximum prison sentence of 4 years, and Trump now faces a maximum sentence of 136 years.
Judge Juan Merchan invited the jury into the courtroom to read its verdict after two days of deliberations. Sentencing for the former president is set for July 11 at 10:00 a.m, just four days before the start of the Republican National Convention, where he is expected to be formally nominated as the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.
Prosecutors needed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump falsified records to conceal a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels, a pornographic performer, in the lead-up to the 2016 election to silence her about an alleged affair with Trump in 2006.
After the verdict, Trump immediately spoke to reporters, calling the trial a “disgrace,” “rigged,” and claiming that the case was “done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent.” He vowed to keep fighting and stated that the case is “long from over.”
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg held a press conference and thanked the jury for their service. He defended his actions, saying, “I did my job. Our job is to follow the facts and the law without fear or favor. And that’s exactly what we did here.”
The Biden campaign reacted to the verdict, stating that the only way to keep Trump out of the Oval Office is “at the ballot box.” Ex-Trump attorney Michael Cohen, the prosecution’s “star witness,” celebrated the verdict, saying “today is an important day for accountability and the rule of law.”
During closing arguments, defense attorneys for former President Trump told the jury he is innocent and that Bragg “did not meet the burden of proof. Period.” On the other hand, prosecutor Joshua Steinglass argued that Trump’s intent to defraud “could not be any clearer,” and that all roads lead “inescapably to the man who benefited the most: the defendant, former President Donald Trump.”

This was nothing more than a Gestapo trial pulled off by the power hungry democrats that was flawed in many ways. I pray that the American Republic can see how this could apply to them as well and we sure do not have the money to defend ourselves like Trump has. They are trying to break him financially, morally and mentally where he will not run and using our taxpayer dollars to do it and denying the fact that Joe Biden did a quid pro quo to get a prosecuting attorney fired before the US would free up funds for Ukraine plus all of the top security docs he had as a senator and we can’t forget the Russian Collusion that the DNC and Hillary Clinton did to win the presidential election over Trump plus all of the security violations she pulled with her at home server. WAKE UP AMERICA we are turning into the countries we are fighting.

This Stasi show trial and asinine verdict shows much more about the woke socialist mentality of NY officials along with a population of sheep than it disparages President Trump. Nobody in the real USA cares about NYC or the state. They can join San Francisco, Denver, Portland, Seattle and all the other sanctuaries. Send them another 50,000 illegal aliens.

American can not allow crooked NY Democrats to change the flow of good vibes in the Trump campaign. Trump is America’s hope to fix the mess Biden and the Democrats have created. The rigged Judicial System must be repaired and the corrupt Prosecutors and Judges removed. The best way t save America is to vote every last Democrat and RINO out of office and put people with American values in office. It is time that American government worked for the American people instead of special interest groups and the Democrat Party.

Good! He is a criminal plain and simple so was his father. A liar and a thief. He only thinks of himself. No respect for anyone else let alone himself.
Justice has finally been served. Orange is his color, so lock the orange baron up!

Our country is in bad shape. What is happening to Trump is just one example of what is happening to dozens of people based on their political beliefs. The only good thing to come out of this is that it exposes all US voters to just how corrupt the Democrat party is.
This will backfire big time for the Democrats throughout most of the country come November. They have solidified the Republicans, lost and embolden the independents and even half of the Democrats are unhappy.
The polls understate just how unpopular Biden is. Remember there are 6% more registered Democrats that Republicans. Thus, when Trump is 4% ahead among registered voters, he is actually 10% ahead of Biden. Biden may still drop out if he can fanigel a pardon for himself and Hunter.

So, Trump is guilty but we are NEVER going to charge ot have a trail for Hillary Clinton who PAID for a false document regarding Russia directly aimed at Trump who also smashed a phone containing damaging texts and sanitized a computer holding thousands of classified documents. Nor are we allowed to QUESTION the sanity, senility or intelligence of a President who has been found by another court of being UNABLE to defend himself for having too many documents to count in his garage who has a son who is a drug addict and who routinely colludes with the Chinese government and openly enriches his family with unlawful activities. Trump is no choir boy, but where is Lady Justice when EVERYONE in Washington is a criminal of some sort?
This is proof that our government is horribly broken and the only choice we have is to fire every last person from Washington and start over with new laws in place to insure this never happens in the future.

Alvin Bragg & his ilk are absolutely crooks & should spend the rest of their crappy lives in prison. Also you can stick it to the pos so called judge. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life!!! Voters will remember this and New York will definitely feel the pain!!!!!!

It is hard to believe that this is happening. (President Trump who was proclaimed guilty of a crime). This is the United States of America.

I I don’t know how many of the jury members were Republican, but I’m guessing probably none of them. I think they voted on politics, not real infovof a crime which I am still unsure of what that was. I don’t know. If the public ever knew of what it is he was accused warranting a felony. I think it’s a very sad day for the United States of America and I think the whole idea of the Democratic judge and the most likely Democratic jury was to keep him from running for president. But no matter who runs I will never vote for Biden and I don’t plan to vote for any Democrat who feels that the Democratic policy is the right one because I don’t believe it has Americans at heart.
