January 1, Wisconsin Anti-Abortion Group’s Headquarters Hit By Apparent Molotov Cocktail Attack

Unknown assailants allegedly targeted an anti-abortion rights group’s Wisconsin headquarters in an arson attack.

Authorities in Madison said they received reports of a fire at Wisconsin Family Action’s office at about 6 a.m., and it’s being investigated as arson after finding a molotov cocktail at the scene.

The unknown assailants also vandalized the office, scrawling the words “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either,” in black paint on a wall outside the building.

The White House issued a statement condemning the attack.

“President Biden strongly condemns this attack and political violence of any stripe. The President has made clear throughout his time in public life that Americans have the fundamental right to express themselves under the Constitution, whatever their point of view. But that expression must be peaceful and free of violence, vandalism, or attempts to intimidate,” the White House said.
