Families in California are suffering through a living nightmare because a massive healthcare conglomerate reportedly left their loved ones in storage for years.

These grieving Americans were searching for missing relatives who were actually sitting in morgues without death certificates or notification.

It is a disgrace that a company using the name Dignity is being sued for such heartless negligence toward our fellow citizens and veterans.

This is what happens when healthcare becomes a cold corporate machine instead of a service to the community.

“There’s no dignity in this,” Jacob Harvey, the son of a deceased veteran, told investigators.

“I don’t even know how they can use that name,” he said.

One family searching for a missing woman only discovered the truth a year later, but her remains were too decomposed for an open casket.

Another family could only identify their relative by a tattoo because of the state of the remains.

“Her body was in the worst condition you can imagine,” the sister of one victim stated.

“Her face looked like someone put battery acid all on her face,” she said.

The hospital’s parent company, CommonSpirit Health, is appearing before the House Committee on Ways and Means to discuss the state of the healthcare system.

Federal records show the facility failed to follow basic procedures for notifying families and processing remains for dozens of patients.

These elites running the healthcare system need to stop hiding behind privacy laws and start providing real answers to the working people they have failed.

We deserve a system that honors life and provides comfort to families during their hardest hours.
