January 1, US Sends Another $450M to Ukraine as Americans Struggle
The Biden administration will send Ukraine another $450 million in military aid as Americans continue to struggle with skyrocketing gas prices and inflation.
The Pentagon announced that the new massive aid package includes four long-range rocket launchers and 36,000 artillery rounds.
The new aid package comes about one week after the Biden administration announced $1 billion in aid to Ukraine.
The latest inventory transfer will include 18 tactical vehicles, 1,200 grenade launchers, 2,000 machine guns, and 18 patrol boats.
According to the Department of Defense, the U.S. has committed $6.1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since Russia launched its invasion on Feb. 24.
