January 1, US Energy Dept Now Says Lab Leak Most Likely Caused COVID-19 Pandemic

Based on new intelligence on the matter, the U.S. Energy Department reportedly concluded that a lab leak in China most likely caused the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Energy Department’s new conclusion marks a change from its earlier position that it was undecided on the pandemic’s origins. The Wall Street Journal first reported the new intelligence and the department’s updated opinion on Sunday.
Some officials who read the classified intelligence report said that the Energy Department’s conclusion was made with “low confidence.”
The department gathered many of its insights via the network of national labs that it oversees, some of which conduct biological research, according to the Journal.
The Energy Department is not the only U.S. agency to conclude that the virus first emerged from an accidental lab leak from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. In 2021, the FBI concluded, with moderate confidence, that a lab leak caused the pandemic. The bureau still hold this view, the Journal reported.
However, there is a divide among intelligence agencies. In October 2021, the director of national intelligence’s office announced that four other intelligence agencies and the National Intelligence Council had concluded, with low confidence, that the virus most likely emerged through natural transmission.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said the intelligence community is still divided over the pandemic’s origins.
“There is a variety of views in the intelligence community,” Sullivan said on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday. “Some elements of the intelligence community have reached conclusions on one side, some on the other. A number of them have said they just don’t have enough information to be sure.”
Sullivan noted that while he “can’t confirm or deny” the information in the Journal report, he can confirm that President Joe Biden “specifically requested that the national labs, which are a part of the Department of Energy, be brought into this assessment because he wants to put every tool at use to be able to figure out what happened here.”
“And if we gain any further insider information, we will share it with Congress, and we will share it with the American people. But right now, there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question,” he added.
Meanwhile, China is dismissing the Energy Department’s conclusion.
“Certain parties should stop rehashing the ‘lab leak’ narrative, stop smearing China and stop politicizing origins-tracing,” foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a press conference on Monday.

Yes, from the very beginning, I, along with other political parties, “HONESTLY “, believe that that deadly Virus started in “WOHAN lab in China . They can , “cover-up, & lie all they want! Donald Trump, called it the “ CHINESE Dease”, & for once, he was RIGHT! I also know that the United States, has many, many other DEADLY labs, here, & all over the world, undercover! Murdering, poor, companion& stolen Animals, of All sorts, in “ UNSPEAKABLE, Horrific Torcher in cages, & “DEATH Rooms! With no Humans to really protest & fight to end Animal Torcher, in LABS, Shelters, & other countries! This is so deadly WRONG, but people will not raise a massive protest, for Animals! It is interesting that prophet Fauci knew beforehand that there was going to be a lab leak early on in the Trump presidency when he announced it.

I say lab leak my foot. This was deliberate. Bill Gates is promising another pandemic so what does that tell you. another lab leak no, a purposeful attempt to spread a dangerous virus. He states the second will be worse than covid. We shall see. This was a world wide event. A lab leak in earnest would have been stopped or confined but low and behold it was allowed and encouraged to spread. Now why was that? depopulation. the world has to many people according to the left. these to many are destroying the planet so they must be gone. actually their plan did not work effectively enough but it was a trial run. So the next will do much better.
