January 1, Tulsi Gabbard Leaves Democratic Party: “An Elitist Cabal of Warmongers”

Former Hawaii congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has announced that she’s leaving the Democratic Party because it’s “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness.”
Gabbard, 41, made the announcement in a scathing video.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution,” Gabbard said.
She accused Democrats of being “hostile to people of faith & spirituality,” demonizing the police and protecting criminals “at the expense of law-abiding Americans.”
Today’s Democrats “believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war,” she continued.
“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,” Gabbard said.
The former congresswoman called on her “fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats” to join her in leaving the party once and for all.
Gabbard did not say if she would be joining the Republican Party, registering as an Independent, or joining a third party.
