Wyatt’s Take

  • Trump names Sergio Gor ambassador pick for India.
  • Gor played key part hiring ‘America First’ officials.
  • Laura Loomer rumored for Gor’s White House job.

President Trump picked Sergio Gor, a familiar ally and leader from the White House Personnel Office, to serve as the next ambassador to India. Gor’s appointment depends on approval from the Senate and would make him a special envoy for South and Central Asian affairs.

Trump openly praised Gor for his success hiring thousands of loyal “America First Patriots” into top government slots at record speed.

“As Director of Presidential Personnel, Sergio and his team have hired nearly 4,000 America First Patriots across every Department of our Federal Government in RECORD time — Our Departments and Agencies are over 95% filled!” the president posted on Truth Social.

Trump called Gor a trusted confidant, mentioning their strong working relationship and Gor’s background leading a pro-Trump group and business ventures with Donald Trump Jr.

“For the most populous Region in the World, it is important that I have someone I can fully trust to deliver on my Agenda and help us, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Sergio will make an incredible Ambassador. Congratulations Sergio!” Trump said.

If confirmed, Gor steps away from his current White House position, sparking talk of who could fill his shoes. Steve Bannon recently pointed to Laura Loomer, a vocal Trump supporter, as a possible replacement, noting her experience in checking officials for loyalty.

“Loomer has to be on the short list as potential replacement given her expertise in the vetting arena,” Bannon wrote on social media.

Laura Loomer herself said it would be an “honor” to serve if chosen, and her influence on hiring decisions appears to be growing in Trump’s camp. Gor is known for rejecting any Trump critics for top jobs, sometimes causing internal fights like when Elon Musk called Gor a “snake” for blocking a NASA pick.

The nomination comes while tensions between the U.S. and India run high. Trump just doubled tariffs on Indian goods after India kept buying oil from Russia, adding strain to the relationship between the two countries.

Big changes may be coming for Trump’s team, with loyalty and results at the heart of the plan. Heartland Americans know what it means to stand with your people and stick to your values—and that’s what is driving these choices in Washington.
