  • Former Trump National Security Deputy drops bombshell on major disagreement between Trump and Netanyahu over how to handle Iran’s rogue regime
  • McFarland advocates for economic pressure campaign to trigger internal collapse of Iranian Revolutionary Guard rather than military strikes
  • Reveals deep divide on Middle East strategy as Trump returns to power with different vision than Israeli leadership

A top national security adviser from President Trump’s first administration just went public with a stunning revelation about disagreements over Iran strategy. And it’s not what the mainstream media wants you to hear.

KT McFarland, who served as Trump’s Deputy National Security Adviser, appeared on Fox Business Network to lay out what she believes is the smartest path forward with the Iranian threat. Her prescription? Economic warfare that slowly dismantles the regime from within.

“The best solution is sort of a slow-rolling regime change, slow-rolling coup, where the IRGC loses control,” McFarland explained during her Monday interview.

The IRGC — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — has been the backbone of Tehran’s terrorist operations across the Middle East for decades. They fund Hamas, Hezbollah, and countless militias that target American troops and Israeli civilians.

McFarland’s strategy relies on economic pressure rather than military action to break the regime’s grip on power. Squeeze their economy hard enough, the theory goes, and the Iranian people themselves will rise up against the mullahs and their thugs in uniform.

But here’s the kicker: McFarland made it clear that President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu don’t see eye to eye on this approach. The two leaders who built one of the strongest U.S.-Israel partnerships in history apparently have different playbooks when it comes to neutralizing Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional aggression.

Netanyahu has long favored more direct action against Iranian nuclear facilities and military targets. Trump, meanwhile, withdrew from Obama’s disastrous Iran nuclear deal and implemented crushing sanctions — the “maximum pressure” campaign that brought Tehran to its knees economically before Biden reversed course.

The disagreement matters because Iran is racing toward nuclear weapons capability while spreading chaos from Yemen to Lebanon. The regime recently cracked down violently on protests at home while ramping up uranium enrichment to near-weapons-grade levels.

McFarland’s comments suggest the next Trump administration will face immediate pressure to choose between economic strangulation and more aggressive military options. With Israel potentially preparing strikes of its own, coordination between Washington and Jerusalem becomes critical.

Why It Matters

Working families across America are tired of endless Middle East wars that drain our treasury and cost American lives. McFarland’s strategy offers a path to defang Iran without putting boots on the ground — but only if Trump and our allies can align on execution. The choice between economic pressure and military action will define whether we stumble into another conflict or finally break the regime that chants “Death to America” while funding terrorism worldwide.

I’m sorry, but I’m with Netanyahu on this. Economic sanctions, etc., won’t work as there will always be someone to fill the void if there is anything to be gained – whether it’s oil, proxy militaries, whatever. Add to that, the belief system the regime adheres to. They don’t value life as we do in the West, or are they motivated by the same things. As long as one person is left standing, they will claim victory. No ‘deal’ can ever be made that they will honor. I fear our government needs a remedial training in Islam. We need to take out the entire regime so the Iranian people can replace their government. Until that happens, Iran will always be a threat to America and Israel.

We’ve got countries and globalist organizations coming at us from all sides. We need to be more far-sighted about this. If we don’t solve this issue, there won’t be cheaper gas, groceries or more housing to worry about.

Netanyahu is right. Economic sanctions will only go so far, and Iran will return to their current tactics.

Do the economic sanctions and add dropping small arms and ammunition to the Persian people so the have the means to resist.

Netanyahu has the correct tactic, wipe iran off the map. Trump is going down a mine shaft that goes to the fireball in the center of the earth. The muslims in charge will fight to the death and aren’t ever going to negotiate away their nuke desire, nor anything else. They keep getting arms and drones from china, russia and n korea as time passes. They don’t care about themselves and their so-called religion, terrorist in nature, welcome death to go to their promised land of terrorism! They certainly don’t care at all about their citizens. Delay only prolongs the length of the war and suffering of not only us, but our Arab allies and the entire world. START IT: END IT NOW STUPID! More spending and more military killed in the interim. suit trump and send it to the straight!
