January 1, Texas Governor Orders National Guard to Return Illegal Immigrants to Border

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1778: American Revolution – Louis XVI of France declares war on the Kingdom of Great Britain.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) directed the Lone Star state’s National Guard and Department of Public Safety to “return illegal immigrants to the border.”

“I issued an Executive Order authorizing the Texas National Guard & Texas Dept. of Public Safety to return illegal immigrants to the border,” Abbott said.

“Cartels have become emboldened by Biden’s open border policies. Texas is taking unprecedented action to STOP this criminal enterprise.”

In a press release, Abbott cited the Biden administration’s decision to end Title 42 expulsions and “the Remain in-Mexico policy.”

“While President Biden refuses to do his job and enforce the immigration laws enacted by Congress, the State of Texas is once again stepping up and taking unprecedented action to protect Americans and secure our southern border,” Abbott said in a statement.

“The cartels have become emboldened and enriched by President Biden’s open border policies, smuggling in record numbers of people, weapons, and deadly drugs like fentanyl.”

Unless they are well-hidden, there are no federal laws requiring that a state offer any sort of aid to people illegally in the country, nor are there any laws requiring that people hire these illegals. Why would those coming into this nation in violation of our immigration laws still come if there were no jobs, welfare, or support of any kind available? They probably wouldn’t, and the states could bring that about by banding together and not offering any sort of aid or jobs to the immigrants unless they are legally here. So far, not a single state has declared any actions in that direction.

Actually, as long as they are on this soil they are entitled to be treated according to that pesky thing called the US Constitution. So they have access to services and programs because of it. IF you are a consititutionalist, then this will piss you off but you must comply because you are a constitutionalist. Sad but this is the reality of having a constitution.

The Constitution and several amendments refer to the rights, privileges, responsibilities, and qualifications for office of citizens of the United States. What constitution are you reading?

I agree with the statement Rat Wrangler made. The only reason come here is for free everything on our the taxpayers back. Some of the people probably very nice but come here legally. If you move anywhere else in this world you have to be able to support yourself without taking a locals job for a year.

I applaud his efforts but he is busing them to the wrong place. Personally I think he should bus them to Delaware, Massachusetts, New York, California, Colorado, and if we have to house them, then why not create interment camps in Alaska?

We hope the Gov. will be sending a bill to his fraudulency. Since we know the regime will not pay the Gov. has the authority to order all banks in Texas to stop sending in federal income taxes (withholding) to the federal treasury. Instead the funds will be sent to the state treasury. That will get Xao Bai-din’s attention.

Thank You Gov Abbot. The human suffering these people are facing and loss of life plus the harm to American citizens who are having to put up with this due to the gross incompetency of an Administration who cancelled on Day 1 of his Administration not only kill The Keystone Pipeline and Energy independence but open the border by invitation and not only encourage people to endanger children, older people but all to be exploited by evil doers and in turn put the American people at risk with drugs, criminals, disease , and all to break Immigration Law and satisfy the Progressive Democratic Party and their lust for power w/o using any semblance of common sense and all the damage to both the Immigrant and the people of the USA.
