January 1, Key Senator’s Stance Could Alter Trump’s Legal Team

Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina isn’t backing President Trump’s pick for U.S. Attorney in D.C., Ed Martin. This could mean trouble because Judge Jeb Boasberg might end up choosing someone else for the job, and that someone could even be Jack Smith, a guy not really friendly to Trump.
President Trump chose Ed Martin to help clean up crime in D.C., a place where crime got really bad when President Biden was in charge. Martin has been doing a good job focusing on crime and tackling corruption in the government. He’s also looking into big, important cases around the world.
But now Martin’s time in the job might be cut short because his temporary position ends soon, and the decision could fall into the wrong hands if Senator Tillis doesn’t support him. Some folks like Senator Mike Lee and Charlie Kirk think losing Martin would hurt Trump’s plans for America.
Senator Tillis has some worries about things Martin said about lawyers from the January 6th events. He’s meeting Martin soon to talk about it. Tillis’s team isn’t saying if he’ll support Martin or not.
If Tillis doesn’t back Martin, then things get tricky. If we don’t get a strong, Trump-friendly U.S. Attorney, we might end up with someone who won’t support Trump’s plan to stop government overreach.
Trump’s team wants prosecutors who go after real crimes and not just target everyday Americans. But time is running out for Martin, and Democrat groups could make it even harder with legal battles.
If no one else can fill the job soon, the court might get to pick who takes over, and that’s not good news for Trump supporters. Senator Chuck Grassley from Iowa plans to help Martin’s nomination move forward, but Senator Tillis might still be in the way. We need people in office who back President Trump’s goals to keep America safe and strong. Let’s hope Tillis sees this and supports Ed Martin so President Trump’s plans can keep going strong.
Wyatt Matters!
Senator Tillis is in a tough spot about Ed Martin, who President Trump picked to be the U.S. Attorney in D.C. It’s important because Martin has been working hard to stop crime and take on big cases. D.C. is a place where crime really got out of hand when President Biden was in charge, and Martin has been making a difference. But if Senator Tillis doesn’t support him, Judge Boasberg might choose someone else, and that might not be good for Trump’s plans.
People like Senator Mike Lee and Charlie Kirk think Martin is the right person for the job. They believe he’s important for helping President Trump in his mission to keep America safe and strong. However, Senator Tillis has questions about some things Martin said about lawyers from the January 6th events. Senator Tillis is going to talk to Martin soon, but it’s still not clear if he’ll end up supporting him. If Senator Tillis doesn’t back Martin, someone who isn’t friendly to Trump might take over instead.
This decision is important because we need leaders who will support President Trump’s plans to handle real crime, not just go after regular people. Time is running out for Martin, and if Democrat groups make it difficult with legal battles, it could be even harder for Trump’s team. Senator Grassley wants to help push Martin’s nomination along, but Senator Tillis holds some power here. We need leaders who support Trump’s goals for America’s safety. Hopefully, Senator Tillis will understand what’s at stake and back Ed Martin, so there’s a strong, Trump-friendly presence in D.C. to keep America on the right track.

Thom Tillis and Bill Cassidy are up for reelection in 2026. Primary them – vote them out!!! They are RINOs and not on board with Trump’s agenda.

I just wrote this to Senator Tillis, I hope many will also, especially North Carolinians
Sir-J6 is done, many people did nothing illegal at that time, President Trump believes, as do you that this man is imminently qualified and so I would urge you to reconsider your position. I would also urge you to consult your constituents to determine how they feel about this. President Trump, having won the race for president, seems to have the confidence of the people, including the people who elected you. I sincerely hope that you will vote in a way that reflects the will of the people. At the very least, I would hope that you will move this person out of committee so that the whole body of the Senate can make their preference known. This is a qualified man who is the president’s choice and likely the choice of your constituants.
