January 1, Judge Blocks Biden’s Immigration Program Proposal

Published

on

President Biden’s team faced a setback this week when a judge said no to their plan to let many illegal immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens stay in the country. This plan, called the “Keeping Families Together” program, was Biden’s idea to protect these immigrants. But Judge J. Campbell Barker, who was chosen by President Trump, decided that Biden doesn’t have the power to do that. America First Legal shared the win on social media.

They said, “We WON our case with folks like Ken Paxton and others from 14 states. We STOPPED Biden and Harris’s plan to give a huge number of illegal immigrants amnesty.”

Gene Hamilton from America First Legal said that the program would have given amnesty to thousands and could have been the biggest amnesty in U.S. history.

He added that since taking office, Biden and Harris have tried to change our immigration system and ignore our borders. But states like Texas and leaders like Ken Paxton have always fought back. They stopped this program, standing up for American values and laws. Hamilton is proud to support these patriots who defend our country.

It’s important to think about what the “Keeping Families Together” program was trying to achieve. The goal was to help families stay together when some family members are U.S. citizens and others aren’t. This seemed like a good plan because keeping families together is important for happiness and support. When families break apart, it can be really hard on everyone, especially kids.

However, some people believe that we have to follow the immigration rules that are in place to be fair. They think that letting people stay without going through the proper process is not right, even if they are married to U.S. citizens. These people, like the judge who disagreed with the plan, say that changing the rules should only happen in a way that everyone agrees on, like through Congress.

Still, the country needs to balance following laws and showing kindness to families. Both sides seem focused on what they think is best, but it’s important to remember that behind these decisions are real people’s lives. Everyone should try to work together to find solutions that help families without ignoring the rules, and that’s something we’re all figuring out together.

I worked in a place once who hired a lot of illegals. There were quite a few who “married” a citizen because it was easier to get the proper papers to stay. Then they divorced.

I think that if they use a time-line of when the marriage took place, (prior to the influx of illegals across the border) there may be some compromise available. If they have been married for over a certain number of years, and the spouses are still married. they should be allowed easier access to Citizenship and to stay.

By doing this the Democrats can easily shift the demographics of an area to their advantage enough to sway the outcome of an election.
Such was the plan of the Democrats when they started the Open Border policy and began bussing and transporting by other means, the vast numbers of invaders to areas that were predominantly Republican, hoping to change the outcome of the 2024 election, but certainly the 2028 election.

I agree with the first comment. Some, not all illegals simply marry as an arrangement to stay and get green cards to work then they divorce.
My sisters Canadian friend did this years ago so it’s not a new thought process. But, what about the people who have come here honestly and legally they are getting shafter.
I will be so happy when Biden is put out to pasture permanently. So will many other Americans.

so pack up the kids, and the legal american spouse and send them with the illegal back to his/her country. give them paperwork to come back legal. the idea of the anchor babies has to go also. we are not the destination spot of all who want to enter this country who might not be acceptable. that is a joke of a law also. this is america. we had more people walk in here from the entire world than came through ELLIS ISLAND THE ENTIRE TIME IT WAS OPEN. in 4 years biden surpassed years and years of legal immigration. our laws work fine when they are used. we just need to get back to using them. sl
