January 1, InfoWars Files for Bankruptcy
Alex Jones’ company InfoWars has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The emergency request notes an estimated liability of up to $10 million. The move comes after Jones was found liable in a defamation lawsuit stemming from his claims about the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.
Jones’ companies InfoWars, InfoWars Health, and Prison Planet TV requested that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court reply by April 22.
According to Bloomberg, court proceedings to determine how much Jones should pay in damages to the plaintiffs in the defamation suit has yet to occur.
