  • Sanctuary policies put Americans at risk
  • Illegal alien truck driver charged after fatal crash
  • Families mourning, but politicians stay silent

A man in the country illegally, Rajinder Kumar, is facing charges after a crash killed two young Americans in Oregon. The accident happened after Kumar jackknifed his semi-truck, blocking both lanes of a highway.

William Micah Carter and Jennifer Lynn Lower were driving a Subaru when their car hit the truck. Both of them lost their lives in this tragedy.

The Department of Homeland Security said Immigration and Customs Enforcement wants to detain Kumar if he gets out of jail. He crossed into the country in late 2022 and was later granted a commercial driver’s license and work permit.

Tricia McLaughlin from DHS stated:

“How many more senseless tragedies must take place before sanctuary politicians stop allowing illegal aliens to dangerously operate semi-trucks on America’s roads? Our prayers are with William and Jennifer’s families. Under Secretary Noem, ICE will continue its efforts to get illegal alien truck drivers off America’s highways.”

Kumar is currently in jail on charges of negligent homicide and reckless endangering.

This is a stark reminder of the risks American families face when illegal immigration goes unchecked. Politicians who support open borders and sanctuary laws turn their backs on regular folks paying the price. Share your thoughts with your friends and neighbors.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think this man should have been driving a vehicle of any shape or size. But I’ve seen season drivers jack knife semis every winter around here.
I’m sorry these kids lost their lives and prayers go out to the families.
I drive semi all the time and we should never have someone on the road that can’t read the road signs or speak English. In a semi or a car.
