A former Army employee at Fort Bragg is in deep trouble for allegedly leaking our nation’s military secrets to a reporter. Courtney Williams is accused of handing over classified tactics used by elite units between 2022 and 2025.
Prosecutors say she gave up secrets about covert missions that were never meant to be seen by the public or our enemies. The FBI arrested her this week for unlawfully transmitting national defense information.
- Williams allegedly sent over 180 text messages and spent hundreds of minutes on the phone with a journalist.
- She reportedly admitted to her own mother in a text message that she might be arrested for disclosing the files.
- The documents included secret tactics that could put our soldiers in danger if they fall into the wrong hands.
The FBI says they found organized files on her computer labeled for the reporter and a thumb drive she allegedly mailed. Even though she claims she was a whistleblower, the government says she broke a solemn oath to protect this country.
FBI Director Kash Patel made it clear that the bureau will not tolerate leakers who betray America. He stated that the government is actively working these cases to stop sensitive information from being used against us.
“This FBI will not tolerate those who seek to betray our country and put Americans in harm’s way.”
The journalist involved called her a brave truth-teller, but the government says the leaked info was marked as secret. This kind of reckless behavior undermines the safety of every person serving in our military.
“Anyone divulging information they vowed to protect to a reporter for publication is reckless, self-serving and damages our nation’s security.”
Williams had signed multiple agreements promising to keep these secrets quiet. Now she faces federal charges that could land her in prison for a very long time.
Wyatt Matters
Working families expect secrecy and discipline from those entrusted with military intelligence, because careless leaks can put brave Americans at risk.

Her and the journalist should share a cell together. Then they can celebrate her “bravery” together.

Cell, Hell, bring back the firing squad. I hope that reporter is proud of them self. Are they both so stupid that they do not see the bigger picture. Whistle blower is fine for corporations not national defense.

Unfortunately I bet this happens more than we think. In DC the Chinese probably have a small army of spy’s harvesting information from government types with TDS.
