Wyatt’s Take

  • Epstein tried to use Trump’s win for influence abroad.
  • He promised foreign leaders inside info about Trump.
  • New emails reveal his efforts to broker power worldwide.

Jeffrey Epstein worked to rebrand himself as a political heavyweight after Trump was elected. Newly revealed House Oversight emails show him offering advice about Trump to foreign diplomats and boasting he had connections at the highest levels.

The emails, dated from 2016 to 2018, show Epstein emailing leaders, billionaires, and diplomats, promising them insight into President Trump’s work and personality.

Epstein claimed unique knowledge of Trump and traded that for favor with foreign officials.

“Vitaly Churkin was great — he understood Trump after our conversations.”

He offered himself as the go-to guy for navigating the new administration.

One 2018 message to Thorbjørn Jagland, a European official, urged him to tell Russian President Putin to use Epstein as a resource.

“He must be seen to get something its that simple.”

Epstein cast himself as Trump’s interpreter on the world stage.

There are emails with Dubai businessman Sultan bin Sulayem, asking Epstein about meeting Trump at his inauguration. Epstein said crowds would be big but offered to set up private meetings in D.C. or New York.

In 2016, Epstein mentioned to Tom Pritzker, an American financier, that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent him personal gifts. Pritzker made light of it but it shows Epstein pitching his international reach.

After Trump met Putin in 2018, ex-Treasury Secretary Larry Summers asked Epstein if the Russians had dirt on Trump.

Epstein said

“Trump was totally predictable”

and offered more explanation by phone.

He wrote

“He thinks he has charmed his adversary… He has no idea of most things.”

Altogether, the emails show Epstein trying to reclaim his lost clout by using Trump’s rise as leverage, working every angle in Washington and overseas.

The House Oversight Committee shared these messages as part of an investigation into Epstein’s dealings and the Justice Department’s handling of his earlier crimes.
