Wyatt’s Take

  • Judge gives green light to unseal Epstein-related records.
  • Americans could soon see evidence the feds wanted hidden.
  • Maxwell behind bars, but the story isn’t over yet.

A federal judge has approved the release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell sex-trafficking investigation. This follows the Epstein Files Transparency Act passing, forcing the Justice Department to make the files public.

Judge Paul Engelmayer ruled the law “unambiguously applies to the discovery in this case.” Soon, hundreds of documents on Epstein and Maxwell could be available to the public.

The Justice Department had requested to unseal grand jury transcripts, saying the public deserves answers. Engelmayer warned about risking victim privacy, criticizing the feds for trying to open files without letting the victims know.

Another judge also ruled recently that documents about older Epstein probes must be released, saying the new law overrides rules that usually keep grand jury matters secret.

Maxwell, who was convicted of trafficking young girls for Epstein, is serving a 20-year sentence. Earlier this year, she was questioned about Epstein’s connections, including ties to wealthy and powerful people.

During her interview, Maxwell stated, “I never saw any man doing something inappropriate with a woman of any age.” On President Trump, she said he was “always very cordial and very kind to me” and a “gentleman in all respects.”

Maxwell told investigators she doesn’t believe Epstein killed himself in jail, saying, “I do not believe he died by suicide,” but admitted she doesn’t know what really happened.

She is now at a minimum-security prison and looking to the Trump administration for possible commutation. The story continues to unfold, keeping Middle America watching for answers.
