Wyatt’s Take

  • A Bloomberg reporter was caught making an obscene gesture toward Marco Rubio during a joint press conference with Hungary’s prime minister.
  • The video has gone viral and set off questions about bias in the mainstream media.
  • The reporter has locked his Twitter account after the incident drew attention online.

Mainstream media likes to claim they’re neutral, but we see the truth when the cameras roll. In Budapest, Bloomberg’s Thomas Escritt was spotted flipping the bird at Secretary of State Marco Rubio as he stood with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

This wasn’t just an accident—the moment spread across social media, raising eyebrows everywhere. Folks have pointed out how this behavior shows just how out of touch the corporate press is with Middle America.

“And they still want you to believe the corporate media is independent.”

The reporter quickly blocked access to his Twitter account, likely realizing his actions were seen around the world. Some wonder if he’ll face real consequences at his employer.

The media elite show over and over again that they hold folks like us in total disregard. But this kind of arrogance only makes their grip weaker.

Who knows if Bloomberg will discipline him, but everyday people see right through this act and remember who stands for working folks and who doesn’t.

Stories like this remind us why we have to keep speaking out, because if we leave it to the so-called professionals, their bias and disrespect only grow bolder.

Wyatt Matters

This story is another example of media elites showing contempt for the values and people who keep this country running. Heartland Americans know respect matters, and actions speak louder than any headline.

Escritt, or Excrament as most call him should have been disinvited from the flight home and permanently banned from accessing The White House press pool.
How disrespectful when you are overseas you must show support for the mission of the United States. What if Orban thought that middle finger was directed to him ?
