January 1, Biden Expanding Healthcare to Illegal Aliens

Published

on

Here we go again, folks. Another day, another attack on the American taxpayer. President Joe Biden announced a plan to open the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare as it is commonly known, and Medicaid rolls to hundreds of thousands of DACA illegal aliens. Now, I understand that some people have a soft spot for these folks, but let’s not forget that they are here illegally. And if they want to benefit from our healthcare system, they should go through the proper channels to become legal citizens.

But it’s not just about the legality of their presence here. It’s also about the cost. The Migration Policy Institute states that about 600,000 illegal aliens are currently enrolled in the DACA program. Now, according to researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies, opening Obamacare and Medicaid rolls to illegal aliens would cost American taxpayers about $4,600 per illegal alien. That means that Biden’s plan to provide healthcare benefits to DACA illegal aliens has the potential to cost American taxpayers roughly $2.8 billion every year.

Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of money. And it’s not like we’re not already paying for the medical costs of illegal aliens. According to estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University, American taxpayers are already forced to subsidize at least $18.5 billion of annual medical costs for illegal aliens living in the United States.

But it’s not just about the cost. It’s also about the message that this sends. It sends a message to illegal aliens that they can come here and receive the same benefits as legal citizens. It sends a message that our laws don’t matter, and that anyone can come here and take advantage of our systems without consequence. And that is simply unacceptable.

I understand that Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra is pushing for this initiative. But let’s not forget that in the Obama years, Becerra was among a number of House Democrats pushing to open Obamacare to illegal aliens. And as California Attorney General, he watched as the state opened healthcare benefits to illegal aliens.

Now, some of you might be thinking, “But Wyatt, what about compassion? Don’t we have a responsibility to take care of these people?” And I would say yes, we do have a responsibility to take care of them. But that responsibility falls on their home countries, not on the American taxpayer. We should be pressuring these countries to take care of their own people, not incentivizing them to send their citizens here to benefit from our systems.

In the end, this is just another example of the failed policies of our government. It’s another example of politicians putting their own interests above those of the American people. It’s another example of the erosion of our sovereignty and our values. And it’s up to us, the American people, to hold our elected officials accountable and demand that they put our interests first.

Wyatt, you are an idiot if you believe that “we” have a responsibility to take care of them. They are illegally in this country, the only thing “we” have a responsibility to do is to run their worthless assssses out of this country! They came here by violating our laws and should have no expectation of help of any kind! We should be forcing their home countries to be paying all of our expenses incurred rounding them up and shipping them home; including the cost of those that are incarcerated and in prison.
