January 1, Again? Non-Binary Biden Official Accused of Stealing Another Person’s Luggage
ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
2000: U.S. Supreme Court releases its decision in Bush v. Gore, settling the recount dispute in Florida’s 2000 presidential election in George W. Bush’s favor and thus handing him the presidency.
Again?
A Biden administration official who allegedly stole a woman’s designer suitcase from a Minneapolis airport in September has now been accused of doing the same thing at an airport in Las Vegas.
A felony warrant has been issued for Sam Brinton, a deputy assistant secretary at the Biden administration’s Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Nuclear Energy, for allegedly stealing luggage from the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
According to local outlet KLAS, the charge is for grand larceny between $1,200 and $5,000. Under Nevada law, the category B felony is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Brinton, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, made headlines earlier this year by becoming one of the first gender-fluid officials within the federal government.
The reports of new charges came just a few days after a group of House Republicans called for Brinton to resign over the felony theft charges in a letter to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.
The lawmakers noted that the department had “issued notice that Sam Brinton was placed on leave without providing crucial context clarifying that Brinton’s recent employment status was the result of a felony charge.”
“As an appointed official, Sam Brinton represents both your Department and the United States. It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land,” the letter reads.
“Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials. It is imperative that we do not allow a person charged with a felony to influence America’s policies,” the letter continued.
Sixteen House Republicans signed the letter, including Rep. Andrew Clyde (GA) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA).
“We demand the resignation of Sam Brinton, and we implore you to set aside petty politics and appoint only the most qualified and dedicated individuals to influence America’s energy sector,” the lawmakers wrote.

LGBTQ must be very proud of him. another example of someone getting a position that has no skills, integrity, or brains for that matter. He could be a democratic presidential candidate. Brinton & Fetterman 2024

Once again, Democrats are quiet on an embarrassing subject. They must be trying to find a way to blame it on Trump.

The first two felonies should not count against someone that uses they/them as their personal pronouns (LOL, Sarcasm). The third offense should send it straight to jail without collecting $200 (you know, like the Monopoly game).
Our government under Biden is slipping into a very unsteady place. Remember when all we had to fear was a ‘mean Tweet’ by our Commander in Chief. Our economy was great, gasoline prices were low, employment was higher than the past forty years…
Now we have a person in charge of nuclear waste stealing luggage with ‘real women’s underwear’.
