January 1, ABC News Moderators Admit Targeting Trump While Giving Harris Pass
In a glaring admission, ABC News’ Linsey Davis revealed to the Los Angeles Times that the moderators’ plan during last week’s presidential debate was strategically designed to target and fact-check former President Donald Trump, while giving Vice President Kamala Harris a free pass.
This revelation comes on the heels of observing that Davis, along with co-moderator David Muir, fact-checked Trump an excessive seven times, often missing the mark, yet never once questioned Harris—even when she relied on debunked narratives like the infamous Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax.
Davis openly stated to the Times that ABC’s deliberate focus on Trump stemmed from a perception that he had previously escaped scrutiny during his debate with President Joe Biden on CNN in late June.
In her interview, Davis mentioned the necessity to counteract Trump’s remarks to prevent them from going unchallenged, as seen during the CNN debate where Biden’s lackluster performance was evident.
Davis, sporting pink glasses and speaking over breakfast at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, justified the heavy-handed approach towards Trump. She claimed it was a response to the June 27 CNN debate, where Biden’s poor showing underscored the need to dispute Trump’s statements more vigorously.
“People were concerned that statements were allowed to just hang and not [be] disputed by the candidate Biden, at the time, or the moderators,” Davis remarked.
The evident bias stands out as Davis admitted that while the moderators meticulously scrutinized past statements by Trump, they displayed little preparation for Harris’s repeated use of discredited narratives. Notably, Harris had invoked the “very fine people” hoax during the 2020 vice-presidential debate with Mike Pence, wherein Pence debunked her claims on the spot.
This one-sided approach was also evident during the June debate, where Biden recited the same debunked stories without any pushback from CNN moderators.
The stark partisan bias in mainstream media continues to undermine fair political discourse, presenting a clear case of double standards. While Trump faces intense scrutiny, Biden and Harris are shielded from necessary fact-checking, raising serious questions about media integrity and their role in shaping public perception.

It was disgraceful and the American people will ultimately pay the price if Harris is elected. It allowed her to continue to not even answer one policy issue. Case in point is w”whether we were better off four years ago than now that she did during the debate and after in another podcast where she deflected about being brought up as a child.

I’ve never really watched ABC, unless it was by accident. And they’ve now shown their true selves and I feel everyone should boycott that channel and those two disgusting hosts should lose their jobs!

Just like most biased reporting, this report is loose with facts. To suggest that Trump didn’t say there were very fine people on both sides, is at best disingenuous. Quit watching the news years ago because of the bias and all the negativity. Just another pathetic attempt at swaying people and their thoughts….there is NO Excuse for this type of bias. Biden is unfit and can’t even form a sentence so using the debate as a platform for revenge is distasteful at the very least.

MSM spews Harris’ abusive verbiage which is very appealing to people on the edge of a slippery slope. But it is very demeaning and shows just how low she will go. She spreads hatred every day. David Muir was my local news person in Syracuse, so I thought I trusted him, BUT never watched anything but ABC. In recent years I’ve become more aware of other channels that obviously tell the truth as seen daily and by all their journalists. ABC has become woke as seen when George Stephanoplolis answered a question by someone he passed on the street and got in trouble with ABC. I no longer trust anyone at ABC and they are being blocked on my TV.

Any news media that deliberately shows bias on a supposed neutral debate should loose their license to operate in this country. The news media is expected to post facts not fiction and plain out lies which seems to be commonplace with them anymore. If they cannot be truthful then they are useless and damaging to our nation and should be held liable for all post. Giving the press certain benefits also should require responsibility in equal proportion should not be a blank check to report inaccuracy.

The media has done a great disservice to the audience it intends to report to on a daily basis. There is vast bias in all the alphabet news channels. Extremely disappointing that our once great nation has been taken over by propaganda from the Marxist Left.
Harris should have been held accountable as VP under an ailing Biden since day one to speak up and remove him from office. The American people have been deceived from day one even though we saw the deception but were vilified for what our eyes and minds knew to be true.
Sure hope those who still vote democrat will open their eyes before it’s too late. If the democratic machine has its way, we won’t be voting in fair elections any more. We will become like many other nations, totalitarian regimes that freely throw the word Democratic or Republic around like left over noodles.

Their performance was discussing and they show the whole COUNTRY their LEFT WING BIAS. The best thing that can happen to ABC is they continue to lose viewership. Over 1 million already keep that number going. 3-5 million should be where they settle in at.
