January 1, Tom Homan Unveils Bold Plans for Immigration Reform

Published

on

In an interview with the Washington Post, Tom Homan talked about how important it is to keep America safe and strong. He said there are plans to bring back family detention centers and worksite raids. These are important steps to stop illegal immigration and keep our borders secure.

The Biden folks stopped using family detention back in 2021. They closed or changed the places where families who came here illegally were held. But Homan thinks this was a mistake. According to a judge, kids can’t stay in these places for more than 20 days. That’s made it tough for ICE to send families back.

Homan believes President Trump can speed things up and build more family centers. “We need to look at the numbers and decide how many beds we need,” he said.

He reminded everyone that if people come here illegally and have kids, they should be ready to face the consequences. Families will have choices, like going back together or deciding some stay if they’re here legally.

Homan insists this isn’t about being mean. “We need to prove to Americans that we can do this the right way, without being cruel,” he said. The goal is to focus on illegal folks who also did other crimes in the U.S.

He was clear—this isn’t about sending troops into neighborhoods. It’s about being smart and effective.

Worksite raids are also coming back. Even though businesses might not like it, it’s necessary to make sure jobs go to Americans who need them.

Homan also cares about kids who came here. He’s worried some might be in bad situations, like forced labor or worse. His team will try to find these children and make sure they’re safe. Parents who bring kids here illegally will have to go to court and explain their situation.

Wyatt Matters!

Keeping America safe and strong is important for everyone who lives here. Securing our borders is a way to protect the country, and bringing back family detention centers is a step toward that goal. When families cross the border illegally, they should understand there are rules and consequences. It’s essential to have a system that works, and this involves making sure families have choices, like returning home together if they can’t stay legally.

Another part of keeping our country strong is making sure jobs are available for Americans. By bringing back worksite raids, we can ensure jobs go to people who need them here. Even though some businesses might not like it, it’s a way to prioritize American workers. It’s a smart and effective approach to handling illegal immigration without being harsh.

Caring for children who come here is also crucial. Some kids might end up in unsafe situations, and it’s important to ensure they are safe. If parents bring their children here illegally, they should be prepared to discuss their circumstances with the authorities. These steps are not about being mean, but about doing what’s right to keep America secure and its people safe.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD SOLUTION. ILLEGALS MUST REALIZE THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY IF THEY COME WITHOUT PERMITS. HOPEFULLY THIS CAN BE DONE WITHOUT TOO MUCH HARM AND IF THEY ARE SMART THEY WILL JUST RETURN OF THEIR OWN ACCORD, THEREBY KEEPING THEIR FAMILIES TOGETHER

these unintelligent republicans cannot seem to realize that these camps were banned back in 1988 by congress and the president who signed it into law.
These camps were deemed unconstitutional. So Donald is talking about building illegal places to put immigrants.

no this has nothing to do with being mean – it’s unlawful to just go into a country without being vetted and to find out if you have a criminal record, or are sick or a terrorist – it’s to protect the safety of Americans. if a perwson can’t understand this then they shouldn’t be here!!!!!!! my grand parents and parents came here the right way i expect that from others

If America is so, so concerned about “breaking the Laws,” and will from time to time. I believe it is in the favor of America. Like the commercial, just do it! Question, If a simple E.W.I. is encountered, will they remove them when encountered with a Higher Criminal? Both are criminals.
