January 1, BETRAYAL: Biden Refugee Now Faces Death Penalty After HORRIFIC Attack

Wyatt’s Take

  • Afghan refugee accused of executing National Guardsman in our nation’s capital — one dead, one fighting for life
  • Federal prosecutors pile on additional charges, death penalty now on the table
  • This is what Biden’s disastrous refugee policy brought to America’s doorstep — importing danger while our troops stand guard

Federal prosecutors just turned up the heat on an Afghan refugee accused of gunning down National Guard members in the heart of Washington, D.C. The Justice Department announced additional charges that could put this accused killer on death row.

One National Guard member is dead. Another is clinging to life in critical condition.

These brave Americans were serving their country — protecting our nation’s capital — when they were allegedly ambushed by someone we welcomed into this country under Biden’s chaotic refugee policies.

The Biden administration rushed tens of thousands of Afghans into America after the disastrous Kabul withdrawal. Remember that? The deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in over a decade, billions in military equipment handed to the Taliban, and then a flood of poorly vetted refugees dumped into American communities.

Now federal prosecutors are loading up the charges. They’re making it clear: the death penalty is in play. This isn’t just another case. This is about accountability for an attack on our military, on our soil, by someone who never should have been here in the first place.

The suspect’s identity as an Afghan national raises urgent questions about the vetting process — or lack thereof — that allowed him into the United States. While the Biden administration was busy congratulating itself for evacuating Kabul, Republicans and security experts were sounding the alarm about who exactly was being flown into American cities.

Those warnings were dismissed as fearmongering. Called racist, even. The usual playbook from the left.

But here we are. A National Guardsman is dead. Another is fighting for survival. And the alleged killer is someone we brought here, housed here, supported here with taxpayer dollars.

This is the direct consequence of prioritizing virtue signaling over American safety. The left wants open borders, mass refugee resettlement, and minimal scrutiny of who enters our country. Then when tragedy strikes, they’re nowhere to be found. No apologies. No accountability. Just silence.

The National Guard members targeted in this attack were doing their duty. They weren’t in a war zone overseas. They were in Washington, D.C. — supposedly safe, supposedly protected. But you can’t be safe when your own government imports threats and then acts surprised when violence follows.

Prosecutors moving toward the death penalty sends a message. But the bigger message needs to come from the American people: no more reckless refugee policies. No more putting political correctness ahead of national security. No more sacrificing American lives for globalist virtue points.

President Trump had it right. Extreme vetting. America First. Protect our people before we worry about the rest of the world. That’s not controversial. That’s common sense.

The family of the fallen National Guard member deserves justice. The service member fighting for recovery deserves justice. And the American people deserve leaders who won’t gamble with their safety to score points with the international community.

Wyatt Matters

This hits home for every American who’s ever watched their son or daughter put on a uniform. We send them to serve, and they shouldn’t have to worry about threats our own government imported. When leaders choose politics over protection, real families pay the price. This needs to be the last time we learn this lesson the hard way.
