Rep. Haley Stevens decided to put Michigan families ahead of radical party pressure when she endorsed former Congressman Mike Rogers for Senate instead of Abdul El-Sayed.

The Daily Show host Jon Stewart used his Monday broadcast to blast Stevens for backing Rogers over the Democrat nominee.

“I am less than impressed,” Stewart declared during the segment.

Stevens explained her decision came down to who would actually deliver for Michigan workers rather than push socialist policies.

“Mike Rogers has a record of fighting for our state and getting things done,” Stevens stated.

El-Sayed’s campaign has centered on far-left positions that include government-run healthcare and wealth redistribution schemes.

“This is a nightmare,” Stewart fumed about Stevens choosing practical governance over ideological purity.

Michigan voters have watched their manufacturing jobs disappear under policies pushed by the same left-wing agenda El-Sayed represents.

Stevens made clear that working families in her district need someone focused on economic growth instead of divisive identity politics.
