January 1, US Envoy Warns Iran Strike Could Hit This Weekend

Wyatt’s Take
- Tom Barrack says American forces are ready to strike Iran if needed this weekend
- Iran’s top military chief threatens to block U.S. warships from the Persian Gulf
- Trump’s tough stance on Iran is once again proving right as tensions rise
President Trump’s envoy Tom Barrack did not mince words when he told reporters that a U.S. strike on Iran is absolutely possible this weekend. The blunt warning comes as tensions in the Middle East continue to climb.
Iran’s military chief fired back the same day, claiming American warships would never be allowed into the Persian Gulf again. The defiant statement shows the regime is feeling the pressure from a stronger American posture.
Barrack’s comments signal that the days of weak negotiations and empty threats are over. American forces are positioned and prepared if the situation demands action.
“Absolutely” could come this weekend, Barrack stated.
Working families across the heartland understand that strong borders and strong defense keep our country safe. The contrast between Trump’s clear-eyed approach and years of failed diplomacy could not be more obvious.
