January 1, Central Park Horror Leaves NYPD Searching for Answers After Brutal Discovery

Officers rushed to Central Park Sunday morning after a 911 call about an unconscious person. First responders found a woman believed to be in her 60s lying unresponsive on a path.
She had suffered apparent trauma to her body. Emergency crews pronounced her dead at the scene.
“Terrifying. I think of the park as a very safe place any time of day or night, so absolutely terrifying,” a frequent parkgoer said. “My heart goes out to her family and friends.”
The woman has not been identified. Police are still investigating how she died and whether anyone else was involved.
“It’s terrible. It’s just terrible news,” a regular runner told reporters. The runner said the area is usually safe and the heavy police presence was unusual.
No arrests have been made. The investigation continues with few details released to the public.

Is it any surprise? New York has become nothing but a toilet. What a Mayor who doesn’t care about anyone, and I think he was cheated in in the first place. But, they live with what they got. Mamdani is a piece of trash who hates this country. I know wish that all these people who love here that don’t like it would just go live in one of the other countries who have socialism and leave our country alone. I just don’t understand why someone who lives so free here would want to change it. It just goes to show you how many mentally ill people live in our country. Mamdani and Hochul are both mentally ill.
