January 1, California Warehouse Fire Sparks Arson Arrest and Supply Shock

- One male employee was arrested on suspicion of arson after a massive facility in Ontario, California was leveled.
- Local residents reported hearing a loud boom before the fire rapidly overwhelmed the building’s sprinkler systems.
- The warehouse belonged to Kimberly-Clark and was packed with toilet paper and hygiene supplies at the time.
A massive paper product warehouse east of Los Angeles went up in flames early Tuesday morning.
Officials believe a worker intentionally set the fire that destroyed a million square feet of inventory.
Firefighters arrived to find light smoke but were quickly forced out of the building.
The fire spread with incredible speed due to the massive amount of paper products inside.
