President Trump is holding the line against Senate swamp dwellers who want to fund the government while leaving our border wide open. He rightly rejected a pitch from Senate Majority Leader John Thune that would have funded other agencies while leaving ICE out in the cold.

The establishment wants to play games with reconciliation bills, but the President knows that is a trap. He is making it clear that the Radical Left must vote with Republicans if they want to see the government reopen.

“I don’t think we should make any deal with the Crazy, Country Destroying, Radical Left Democrats unless, and until, they Vote with Republicans to pass ‘THE SAVE AMERICA ACT,’”

Trump said.

Democrats have spent weeks dragging their feet and moving the goalposts while TSA agents and travelers feel the squeeze. Instead of negotiating in good faith, they skipped meetings and tried to force a vote that only funded specific agencies they like.

The White House has already sent ICE agents to major airports to help with security lines during the shutdown. While Chuck Schumer complains about ICE being at airports, the President is focusing on keeping the country safe and moving.
