Wyatt’s Take

  • Four brave Army Reserve soldiers from Middle America states lost their lives to an Iranian drone attack.
  • They served in a logistics unit based right here in Des Moines, Iowa.
  • Six Americans killed so far in Operation Epic Fury, two more names coming soon.

The Department of War named these heroes killed March 1 in Kuwait during the fight against Iran.

Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, from Winter Haven, Florida. Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, from Bellevue, Nebraska. Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, from West Des Moines, Iowa.

All part of the 103rd Sustainment Command.

Folks, these are our neighbors stepping up when it counts. Stand tall for them and pray for the others still in the fight.
