  • Two teens charged as adults for deadly DC shooting.
  • President Trump highlights chaos in the city as reason for crackdown.
  • A third suspect in intern’s murder still at large, police say.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced that two teenagers have been arrested for the killing of a congressional intern this June in Washington, D.C.

Both face first-degree murder charges and will stand trial as adults.

“Because they’re not kids; they’re criminals. They’re violent criminals. We have to hold them accountable,” Pirro stated.

Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, was killed near a downtown transit spot while working a summer internship on Capitol Hill.

Police Chief Pamela Smith expects a third person will soon be arrested.

“These two arrests, and a third one pending – I’m confident we’ll get the third one – give Eric’s loved ones some sense of peace as they continue to grieve a tremendous loss,” Smith said. “Eric came to our city with a bright future ahead of him interning in a role where he served the public on Capitol Hill. He deserved an opportunity to return home safely to his family but was senselessly taken from his loved ones.”

President Trump pointed to Eric’s death and other attacks as proof that federal action was needed to address the city’s crime.

Eric had been working for Congressman Ron Estes of Kansas when his life was cut short.

Violence and killing is all the democrat bastards know how to do. They can’t come up with decent policies so they have to attack those who do.
