January 1, Comer Pushes Clintons on Russiagate and Epstein
Wyatt’s Take
- Comer aims to question the Clintons about both Russiagate and Epstein.
- He expects their lawyers will try to limit questions just to Epstein.
- Documents show Obama officials pushed the Russia story, which raises concern.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer wants to ask Bill and Hillary Clinton more than just questions about Jeffrey Epstein. He hopes to also push them on the origins and handling of the Russiagate probe.
“We would like to ask a lot of questions about that, so we’ll try to get that in the deal, but I’m sure at the end of the day, the questions will be limited to Epstein,” Comer said.
Comer pointed to documents released by Tulsi Gabbard, which reveal that top Democrats pushed the Russia collusion narrative and the now-debunked Steele dossier.
He’s subpoenaed the Clintons and several former officials for documents tied to Epstein. No word yet on whether the Clintons will agree to broader questioning.
If you want to keep Washington honest, keep reading and keep sharing the truth. Our country depends on hard questions and straight answers.
