Mamdani said, “I worked until January, and then I took time away from my job because I knew that if I ran out of my savings, my family would help me.” Sounds a bit off, doesn’t it?

His dad is a left-wing professor at Columbia University, and his mom is a filmmaker who had a fancy loft in New York City. Mamdani went to some expensive private schools and then graduated from the Bronx High School of Science. After high school, he went to a private liberal arts college for Africana Studies.

His job experience? Well, it’s not much. Before politics, he did a bunch of gig jobs – he helped on his mom’s film, tried being a rapper, worked as a campaign organizer, and was a part-time tutor. In 2020, he got a job in the New York Assembly.

Remember what Margaret Thatcher said? “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” That’s what Katie Pavlich from Fox News tweeted. Kirsten Fleming from the New York Post also pointed out how Mamdani seems comfy with spending other people’s money—something her parents warned her not to do.

Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright even said this is “Classic Socialism: Once I blow through my money, I’ll take yours.”

So, what’s Mamdani planning? He wants to build city-run grocery stores and take over utility companies, saying it’ll cost taxpayers $10 billion a year. How does he plan to pay for it? By taxing big companies and the wealthy more, according to Time Magazine.

He once talked about getting rid of student debt and having Medicare for all, ideas he says most people like. But he also mentioned things like seizing the means of production, which not everyone agrees with.

We need to be careful with candidates like Mamdani. If we aren’t, who knows what kind of socialist ideas might take over!
