January 1, DeSantis’ Bold Move Brings Stranded Americans Home

Governor Ron DeSantis is stepping up once again! He just helped around 1,500 Jewish-Americans come home safely to America from Israel. These brave Americans were on a trip when things got really tough. Governor DeSantis sent big planes to get them from Cyprus back to Tampa, Florida.
When dangerous times hit, Governor DeSantis didn’t just sit around. He made sure they got back home. Some folks decided to stay in Israel, but for those who wanted to get back, DeSantis made it happen.
The Broward Jewish Federation is thankful for everything that’s being done to bring people home safely. During difficult times, it’s good to know folks are working hard to help.
A couple of weeks ago, after terrible attacks in Israel, where more than 1,200 people, including 30 Americans, were killed, DeSantis also brought home 200 more Americans. He even sent planes with tons of supplies to help Israel.
These supplies included medical items like bandages, syringes, ventilators, and more. Florida also sent toys, sleeping bags, and clothes. DeSantis called out the Biden administration at the time, saying that with Washington not showing strong leadership, he’s taking charge to help our friends in Israel. It’s about supporting our allies and helping Americans who need to get home. Governor DeSantis is making sure we stand with Israel in these tough times.

Governor DeSantis really showed how leaders should act in tough times. When lots of danger suddenly appeared, he didn’t just sit around. He stepped up to make sure around 1,500 Jewish-Americans got back home safely from Israel. He sent big planes to get them all the way from Cyprus to Tampa, Florida. Even though some people decided to stay in Israel, for those who wanted to return, he got it done.
In times when everything feels bad, having people who are working hard to keep others safe is really important. The Broward Jewish Federation is very thankful for what has been done. They know someone is there to help bring people home when things get tough. It’s a relief to know that action is being taken and plans are in place to help.
After the terrible attacks in Israel, which sadly affected so many, including Americans, DeSantis also made sure 200 more Americans got home. But he didn’t stop there. He sent planes with a lot of supplies to help out. They included medical items and even toys and clothes. He made it clear it’s important to stand with our friends and help Americans get home when they need it. With his actions, he’s showing everyone the importance of being there for each other in hard times.
