1929: U.S. President Herbert Hoover authorizes the building of Boulder Dam (Hoover Dam).
President Joe Biden called on lawmakers in Congress to restore abortion protections after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday.
“Let me be very clear and unambiguous: the only way we can secure a woman’s right to choose—the balance that existed—is for Congress to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade as federal law,” Biden said from the White House on Friday. “No executive action from the president can do that.”
“You can act. You can have the final word,” Biden said. “This is not over.”
Biden called the Supreme Court’s ruling a “tragic error” and blamed the outcome on former President Donald Trump.
“It was three justices named by one President Donald Trump who are the core of today’s decision to upend the scales of justice and eliminate a fundamental right for women in this country,” the 79-year-old said.
Biden also called on demonstrators opposed to the Supreme Court’s decision to keep protests “peaceful, peaceful, peaceful.”
“I call on everyone, no matter how deeply they care about this decision, to keep all protests peaceful. Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful,” Biden said. “No intimidation. Violence is never acceptable. Threats and intimidation are not speech. We must stand against violence in any form, regardless of your rationale.”

Does he not thing that millions of people are upset over his decisions to shut down keystone. That he done alone by himself. Or the economy he has gotten us into. Or that he is trying everything he can to infringe on our Constitutional right to own guns.

What happens if Congress decides to pass a law mirroring Roe v Wade, but then the Supreme Court decides that the 10th Amendment takes precedence and throws out the new law as unconstitutional? It’s happened more than once in our nation’s history, and there is no reason it cannot happen again.

It kills me to see how appalled people are about school shootings and yet they’re willing to support abortion. They’re willing to rip a baby as a mother’s womb up to the day of birth when they can do a partial birth abortion. These people are so freaking sick it’s not even funny. How did we get here?
