January 1, Zelensky Slams Russian Land Grab Push
Wyatt’s Take
- Ukraine refuses to hand over land to Russia
- President Zelensky demands a real ceasefire
- Standoff drags on, leaving common folks stuck in the middle
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country will not give up any territory to Russia, even as battles drag out across the region.
He has demanded that Russia agree to a real ceasefire, not just empty promises, in order to protect Ukraine’s people and land.
“It is impossible for Ukraine to give up any territory,” Zelensky declared, standing firm against pressure to negotiate away any parts of his country.
By doubling down, Zelensky is making it clear that eastern Ukraine stays Ukrainian, no matter what Russia wants.
Folks in the heartland know that when someone fights to keep their home, you can’t just hand it over to the bully next door.
In the meantime, families living along the front lines are the ones paying the steepest price as leaders argue over borders.
If Russia truly wants peace, Zelensky says the answer is simple: pull back, honor Ukraine’s borders, and stop the attacks.
