January 1, Trump Was Right on Border Betrayal and America Pays the Price

Wyatt’s Take
- Suspects in Missouri and Texas face murder charges after allegedly luring a teen and killing a spouse.
- A Haitian national released into Florida allegedly killed a mother with a hammer at a gas station.
- Federal agents recently captured an El Salvador murder suspect living freely in a Virginia community.
A string of brutal killings by illegal immigrants is fueling a national outcry over systemic border failures. Lawmakers warn these violent incidents are not isolated trends but the direct result of poor vetting.
National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto warns that millions entered the country without proper background checks. He believes more violence is coming because many people are comfortable with these individuals roaming our streets.
“It will not be the last—it’ll be more,” Del Cueto said.
In Missouri, 15-year-old Miles Young was allegedly executed after being lured into a trap by an illegal immigrant. Senator Eric Schmitt stated that the country is done sacrificing American children at the altar of mass migration.
“We are going to relentlessly pursue the largest deportation operation in American history,” Schmitt said.
In Dallas, Francisco Mendez-Marin is accused of slitting his wife’s throat just weeks after their wedding. Body camera footage reportedly shows the suspect claiming he was obligated to commit the act.
A Venezuelan national released into the country in 2023 now faces charges for killing a Loyola University student. Federal prosecutors stepped in with firearm charges to ensure the suspect remains behind bars.
Government officials noted that some suspects had final removal orders but were still granted protection to stay. This lack of enforcement allows foreign fugitives to be misclassified as non-criminals while living in local neighborhoods.
“The Chicago U.S. Attorney’s Office will take no chances that this illegal alien perpetrator will be released back into our community,” a federal prosecutor said.
Wyatt Matters
American families deserve to feel safe in their own towns without worrying about unvetted individuals roaming the streets. Protecting our borders and enforcing the law is the only way to ensure the safety of our children and neighbors.
