Wyatt’s Take

  • Governor Walz says his meeting with border official Tom Homan felt different than past talks.
  • He wants ICE agents out of Minnesota and justice for local victims.
  • Walz still blames outsiders for problems tied to the border crisis.

Governor Tim Walz met with Border Czar Tom Homan and said the conversation held a tone shift.

“tone shift.”

He called the meeting progress but said the main goal is to get federal agents out of Minnesota.

Walz contrasted Homan with others, saying:

“Tom is a professional, which is a lot more than Bovino. And Kristi Noem.”

He insisted Minnesota needs justice for the victims in recent local tragedies and said the state wants a return to calm.

“I’m not interested in a more efficient metro surge. I’m ready for them to get out of here.”

Walz insisted.

He called it progress that Homan reached out directly for a meeting, unlike other officials.

But he added:

“They started this fire, so we’re not giving anybody credit for putting it out.”

Walz finished by calling for a return to normalcy by removing ICE agents from Minnesota.

Do you think the border crisis will finally get resolved, or is Washington just shifting the tone again?

Stay tuned for the latest Middle America updates.

All he needs to do is clean up his act and they will leave.

Let them do their job, execute their warrants, and they will leave when the job is completed. That’s what should have happened initially (sans the drama and rioting from a clueless, paid to be incendiary populace!
