January 1, Two Pro-Life Advocates Brutally Attacked Outside Baltimore Planned Parenthood
In a violent incident outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Baltimore, Maryland, two pro-life advocates were attacked on Friday morning. The victims, two elderly men aged 73 and 80, were seriously injured in the attack, which took place just before 10:30 a.m.
According to a report by LifeSiteNews, local pro-life advocate John Roswell identified the victims as Dick Schafer and Mark Crosby. Photographs obtained by the outlet suggest both men suffered severe facial injuries.
Schafer is reportedly recovering at home, while Crosby was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. It is noted that Crosby’s facial injuries were severe, including a completely fractured cheekbone and bleeding from an unidentified area behind his eye. His eye orbit is reportedly completely shattered and will require metal replacement.
Dr. Jay Walton, president of Baltimore County Right to Life, has set up a GoFundMe page to cover Crosby’s medical expenses. In a post on the page, Walton said Crosby was “brutally beaten…while he was praying in front of the Planned Parenthood in Baltimore City.”
Roswell’s email alleges that the attacker asked a nearby Planned Parenthood escort to hold his drink before lunging at Schafer. Crosby tried to aid Schafer but was hit in the face, knocked to the ground, and then kicked in the head.
The Baltimore City Police have obtained video footage of the incident. The suspect is described as a white man with brown hair and a full beard, wearing brown shoes, a gray T-shirt, and blue jeans. Reports indicate that he was seen having a visibly aggressive conversation with one of the pro-lifers before he physically attacked them. The police are still searching for the suspect.

One thing that should be said here, and firstly – KUDOS! – to the “elderly” men who stood up for the unborn. Maybe they are old enough to know better now, maybe they’ve ALWAYS taken responsibility for the human beings they’ve fathered, but either way their courage is evident. One very distressing aspect of the thriving abortion industry is that it has been fueled by so-called “men” (really little boys who are, unfortunately, still capable of fathering babies) who do not want to take any responsibility for the lives of those whom they’ve helped create. SHAME on all of you! Also, when our government, both local, state and federal, are as concerned by the violence generated by the pro-aborts as they often seem to be in the fairly rare instances of violence from the other side, maybe some real progress can be made. When everyone realizes that life is life, from conception to grave, the deliberate killing of the innocent unborn will end. I pray for that day, each and every day.
