Wyatt’s Take

  • Arizona Democrat Gov Katie Hobbs nixed a license plate bill for late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
  • Her veto ignores Kirk’s tragic assassination while Dems play politics.
  • Party-line vote showed Dems’ hypocrisy after snubbing Jesse Jackson moment.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed a bill to create a license plate honoring Charlie Kirk.

“Charlie Kirk’s assassination is tragic and a horrifying act of violence,” Hobbs said in her veto statement.

“In America, we resolve our political differences at the ballot box. No matter who it targets, political violence puts us all in harm’s way and damages our sacred democratic institutions.”

“I will continue working toward solutions that bring people together, but this bill falls short of that standard by inserting politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan,” she added.

The bill passed on a strict party-line vote after Democrats balked, citing a recent slight to Jesse Jackson.

Senator Hoffman walked out during Jackson’s moment of silence but pushed Kirk’s honor bills today.

Folks, it’s time to fire up and support groups like Turning Point Action to push back hard in Arizona.

Hobb’s is a disaster! She stole the election with the help of her democrat goons and friends in AZ government. She’s a child in an adult’s job. What an embarrassment!!
