Former President Donald Trump is launching a new venture: motivational speaking.
Axios reported that Trump’s appearances with the American Freedom Tour (AFT) are garnering area-sized crowds.
“It’s privately run — and, according to organizers, it’s driving huge audience interest,” the outlet reported.
Motivational speaking is a lucrative industry, generating about $2 billion a year, according to Axios.
Trump has headlined AFT events in Houston, Austin, and Sunrise, Florida. He’s slated for another in Memphis next month.
“The American Freedom Tour is not a Republican-aligned event or a Trump-aligned operation,” said AFT founder Chris Widener. But “both President Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are incredible speakers, and we are happy to have them on our tour.”
