January 1, Trump Sermon on Trans Kids, Migrants Was Unity-Focused, Pastor Tells ‘The View

Folks, let’s talk about something important that happened at the National Prayer Service. Bishop Mariann Budde from Washington, D.C., tried to give a sermon about “unity” to President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. Now, she brought up things like transgender kids and illegal immigrants, saying they’re scared of the new administration. This is where things get interesting.
President Trump and VP Vance didn’t look too happy while she was talking. They even rolled their eyes! The bishop went on a TV show later, saying she wanted everybody to get along and have mercy on each other. Well, that sounds good, but she also seemed to be pushing a left-wing agenda.
Trump took this sermon as a chance for Bishop Budde to play politics rather than pray. He said she was bringing her church into politics in a way that wasn’t very nice. Trump also pointed out she didn’t talk about the big problem we have with illegal immigrants. Many coming in are from jails and other places. Trump’s right—a lot of crimes happen because of this, and it’s something we can’t ignore.
The President also set some important rules to help keep our country safe. He signed orders to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and make sure we focus on real issues like who gets to be a citizen. He even made it clear that in America, there are only two genders: male and female. It’s about sticking to the facts and making sure we’re all on the same page.
But here’s the thing, folks. This bishop says people are misinterpreting what she said because of politics. She thinks we’re all too eager to misunderstand each other. But maybe it’s because she wasn’t clear in the first place or because she tried to push political ideas at a prayer service.
So, remember that President Trump is focusing on keeping us safe and sticking to the important stuff, while some folks might use the pulpit to try and change the subject. Stay informed, and let’s keep America strong!
Wyatt Matters!
During the National Prayer Service, when Bishop Mariann Budde talked about unity, it seemed like she was mixing politics with prayer. She mentioned issues concerning transgender kids and illegal immigrants, which turned the service into more of a political talk. Instead of focusing on prayer and unity, it felt like she was pushing for a particular political point of view, causing President Trump and VP Vance to react with visible frustration. It’s crucial to remember the purpose of such services and to keep them focused on bringing people together, not dividing them.
President Trump, focusing on keeping the country safe, pointed out the real concerns that affect everyone, like illegal immigration and crime. He signed orders to secure the border and emphasized the importance of clear, established rules around citizenship. These actions are about ensuring the safety and security of everyone in America. By sticking to important issues and factual information, it’s easier to build a community where everyone feels secure and understood.
It’s important to look past the noise and focus on what helps keep everyone safe. When people use events meant for unity to push their agendas, it distracts from what truly matters. Staying informed and focusing on what keeps the country strong is key. Let’s continue to emphasize the values that keep our communities safe and united.

What I saw was not a sermon! It was a political, hateful lecture which IMO, has no business from a pulpit! It didn’t take anybody long to realize what her politics were, but didn’t hear anthing about OBEYING THE LAWS OF THE LAND, as my BIble teaches nor did I hear anything about the love of Christ, just partisan politics more suited to see on MSDNC or CNN. She has no business posing as a pastor with the attitude I saw. I would have walked out and let her rant!

i am 78 and for years it’s been written “church and politics don’t mix” this so called whatever she is looks like a gay person herself, which is fine but don’t use church and the pulpit to broadcast your ideals!!!! it was out of line and she didn’t have to embarrassed Trump and Vance in front of the family and church goers! people like her need to shut up – God would not like kids using their bodies to change sex – she is supposed to be “working” for God but is really doing the work of the devil. disgraceful!!!!

What I saw was not a sermon at all, but a political lecture, which didn’t belong coming from a pulpit. She must be so proud of showing her backside. Then to CNN or MSDNC to spew more of it.
