President Trump has thrown his weight behind Rep. Paul Gosar for Arizona’s 9th Congressional District, praising him for a “fantastic job.” Trump listed Gosar’s efforts to boost the economy, cut taxes, and strengthen the border as key reasons for his endorsement.

Gosar joined Congress in 2010 and has stayed true to conservative principles as a Freedom Caucus member. He got national attention with a 2021 video showing him standing up to political adversaries, which stirred the pot in Washington.
