Trump Media & Technology Group is merging with TAE Technologies in a deal worth over $6 billion. The goal is to develop and expand fusion energy all across America.

“Trump Media & Technology Group built uncancellable infrastructure to secure free expression online for Americans, and now we’re taking a big step forward toward a revolutionary technology that will cement America’s global energy dominance for generations,” TMTG Chairman and CEO Devin Nunes said in a statement.

The two companies plan to build the world’s first major fusion energy power plant starting next year. This technology promises lower prices, reliable carbon-free electricity, and none of the dangers linked to nuclear waste or meltdowns.

TAE says their energy will bring affordable power and help win the A.I. race, bringing relief to families who’ve felt the squeeze from rising energy bills.

The new company will have nine board members and two co-CEOs from each side. Trump Media will still run its social media platforms, while expanding into energy and science.

“Our talented team, through its commitment and dedication to science, is poised to solve the immense global challenge of energy scarcity,” Binderbauer said in a statement.

The completion of this merger is expected by mid-2026.
