Hey folks, it’s Wyatt Porter here, bringing you the latest on how President Trump is standing up for America and taking action to protect our jobs and industries.

So here’s the big news: President Trump announced he’s putting a 25% tariff on goods coming from Japan and South Korea. This is part of his mission to make trade fair for the United States, something he’s been fighting for since Day One.

Trump posted on Truth Social, telling the leaders of Japan and South Korea about the new tariffs. These tariffs aim to reduce the big trade gap we have worked with these countries. President Trump made it clear—companies in Japan and South Korea can dodge these tariffs if they start making their stuff here in the good old USA. That’s right, more jobs in America!

Now, Trump gave a strong warning. If these countries try to hit back with their tariffs, he’s ready to fire back even more. He says, “We’re open to making changes if you open up your markets to us.” It’s all about creating a fair playing field.

Just before these letters were posted, our Treasury Secretary said we’d be hearing a lot about trade this week. And here it is! The Japanese have been talking with us in Washington a lot lately, but no deal yet. Trump calls them “spoiled” because for years, they haven’t played fair. They won’t take in stuff like rice or cars from us, but they sell tons to us. Time to change that!

South Korea’s trying to lower some of our tariffs too, but Trump is firm. He knows what’s best for America.

This move shows Trump isn’t afraid to tackle the tough trade issues. He’s putting America first, working to protect our industries and jobs from unfair trade practices. Stay tuned, folks, because it’s a new day in American trade policies!

Wyatt Matters!

President Trump has taken a bold step by announcing a 25% tariff on goods from Japan and South Korea. This move is part of his plan to make trade fairer for the United States, which he has focused on since becoming president. By imposing these tariffs, he is trying to reduce the trade gap with these countries and bring more jobs to America. If companies in Japan and South Korea want to avoid these tariffs, they can start producing their goods right here in the USA, which means more American jobs!

Trump is making it clear that he won’t back down easily. He warns that if Japan and South Korea try to retaliate with their own tariffs, he’s ready to respond with even stronger measures. The goal is to create a level playing field where both sides benefit. Trump wants these countries to open up their markets to American products, just as the U.S. has done for them. The time has come to start playing fair.

This action proves that President Trump isn’t afraid to confront difficult trade problems. His top priority is putting America first and securing jobs and industries against unfair trade practices. Change is happening in American trade policies, and we should all stay tuned for what comes next!

Japan has taken advantage of the U.S.since the end of WW2. They really stepped up their game in the 70’s by importing all the cars. It is WAY past time that they drop their tariffs 2 a decent level. I sure hope that Trump plays hardball with them!

I’m so glad our president is sticking to his guns and not letting other countries take advantage of us. I support you all the way.
