President Trump honored Charlie Kirk at a packed event in Arizona, saying Kirk’s memory will last among America’s greatest heroes.

Trump said Kirk was killed “by a radicalized, cold-blooded monster for speaking the truth that was in his heart.”

He praised Kirk for standing up for freedom, justice, and American values.

“He was violently killed because he spoke for freedom and justice, for God, country, for reason, and for common sense,” Trump stated.

Trump described Kirk as a “martyr for American freedom.” He told the crowd that Kirk’s voice will “echo through the generations” and his name will “live forever in the eternal chronicle of America’s greatest patriots.”

He addressed Kirk’s widow, Erika, acknowledging her pain and faith and calling her a comfort to others.

“Today, an entire nation wraps its loving arms around you and your beautiful children,” Trump said.

He promised to honor Kirk so his children grow up knowing their father is seen as a hero.
