January 1, Trump Celebrates Mideast Peace Breakthrough
Wyatt’s Take
- Trump announced both Israel and Hamas agreed on phase one of a new peace plan.
- The deal includes hostage releases and troop withdrawals to a set line.
- Trump says this could end decades of chaos and bring lasting peace.
President Trump shared that Israel and Hamas have each agreed to the first step of a peace plan. He called it a turning point for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, neighboring countries, and America.
“I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
He said the agreement means all hostages will soon go free, and Israeli troops will pull back to an agreed line as part of securing lasting peace.
“This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen,” Trump added.
“BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!”
Trump spoke at a roundtable event, saying a deal to end the Israel-Hamas war was close. During the event, the Secretary of State handed him a note stating that peace was near.
“I was just given a note by the Secretary of State saying that we’re very close to a deal in the Middle East,” said Trump.
Trump also mentioned that Israel agreed to withdraw troops to a certain line and that a ceasefire would begin once Hamas confirmed the agreement.
He said:
“After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas.”
“When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE.”
Keep an eye on this story, neighbors. Peace in the Middle East could change our world for the better, putting America in a stronger spot.
