January 1, Texas Congresswoman Challenges Presidential War Decisions

Published

on

Hey there, folks! Let me tell you about something interesting coming from Washington. There’s this Congresswoman from Texas, Jasmine Crockett, and she’s pretty upset. She thinks Congress should have had a say on whether or not America should have launched some attacks on Iran. She believes she’s the one who should make the decision or at least vote on it.

Now, we know President Trump had to make a call to keep America safe. Sometimes, quick decisions are necessary, and he figured it was time to act against Iranian nuclear sites. That’s what a strong leader does, right? But Crockett isn’t too happy about not being involved in the decision. She’s saying something about how it costs a lot of money to go to war, and maybe Congress could have helped avoid that.

She’s also saying that some folks in Congress are not doing their jobs because they’re just following what President Trump decides. But is that really fair? President Trump was looking at the big picture to protect our country. We elected him to make tough calls, and he did just that.

Things aren’t going great for Crockett, though. She tried to get a big position in the House Oversight Committee but didn’t get enough support from her own party. Instead, another Democrat, Robert Garcia from California, got the job.

So, there you have it! While some politicians argue about who should do what, President Trump just keeps working to keep America strong and safe. It’s important to support leaders who take bold actions for the sake of our national security.

Wyatt Matters!

It’s important to understand why Congresswoman Crockett is upset about not being consulted on military actions. She believes that Congress, which represents the people, should have a say in such big decisions, especially ones that could lead to war. Having Congress involved might help make sure we’re making the best decisions for everyone in the country. It’s also about spending money wisely, and Congress is supposed to help with that too.

When President Trump decided to act against Iran, he was thinking of keeping our country safe quickly. Leaders sometimes need to make fast decisions to protect us. Still, it’s important to listen to different voices and ideas. Working together can help America make better choices in the long run. Congress can bring many perspectives, and that can be really valuable, especially on big issues like going to war.

Even though there’s disagreement, everyone wants what’s best for America. Bold decisions are necessary, but it’s also important to consider how we make those decisions and who gets to help make them. The best way forward might be finding a balance where we can act quickly when needed and also give Congress a chance to be part of these important decisions. This way, we make sure that we’re both strong and thoughtful in how we handle problems.

As our loyal readers, we encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions on this issue. Let your voice be heard and join the discussion below.

I feel that President Trump should be impeached for bombing Iran’s nuclear sites this
past weekend because those bombing raids violated the War Powers Act, particularly by
initiating military action without congressional authorization, and should be considered
a “high crime and misdemeanor” because it challenges the constitutional balance of
power and congressional authority over war.
Disregarding Congress’s role in war-making is a grave offense against our governmen Itself.

I’ll bet you couldn’t have cared less about the War Powers Act until the media told you to be upset about it. Did you call for owebama’s impeachment when he bombed countries without authorization? I didn’t think so. Have you even read the War Powers Act? I didn’t think so.

I could not have said it any better! One needs to be informed on what they are talking about, before making any statements on ANY SUBJECT! I feel deep in my heart that President Trump did what he thought was best for our country, and had consulted with both Iran and Isreal prior to his taking this action. President Trump, through his knowledge of the situation, and having tried more civil reasoning, made his move probably because neither Iran nor Isreal could/would come to terms on their own which is evident!

Lets not talk about the tons of bombings carried out by Obama, Clinton and Bush without Congressional approval. That doesn’t apply to Trump, its ancient history. Only What Trump does is illegal and or unconstitutional because he is conservative, Republican, MAGA and Orange Man!…ORANGE MAN BAD, LETS IMPEACH HIM FOR HIS DASTARDLY DEEDS (NOW LOOK THAT UP ON THE DEMOCRAT VERSION OF THE CONSTITUTION)

How do you feel about a comotose previous president who did not know who was in charge of the autopens? How do you feel about the billions of dollars sent by former presidents to foreign countries while american people were starving and homeless? I do not believe that people should just start yelling impreachment when they disagree with President Trump. Have you considered that there are things that we do not know about that this president has to deal with day to day and make the right decisions? Could you do the job?

Additionally, I am a veteran of the United States Air Force. I require you to read article 2 of the United States Constitution. This is a friendly requirement because last thing America needs to do is judge another American. So before you pontificate on issues that you don’t have educational reference for. Feelings do not suffice. Reality does and common sense should be your guide. Have a good day.

Well the Barry, we should also go back and prosecute every past president that is still alive as all of them have done the same thing, in some cases repeatedly. This out burst by Miss Load and Proud Crocket is nothing more than her need for attention and a willingness to put her lack of comprehension of just about everything on display to get that needed attention. She really is an embarrassment to us and an item of humorous curiosity for the world.

Since has been in Congress since Jan 3, 2023.

Did she complain on Dec 26, 2023 when Biden order air strikes on several Iraqi sites, killing a member of the Iraqi security forces, and wounding 18 others? Did she complain on Jan 5, 2024 when Biden ordered an air strike in Iraq, killing Mushtaq Talib al-Saidi and two other’s military leaders backed Iran?

Just a few days ago she claimed that she “never saw anything” that made her question is Biden mental sharpness, arguing that his mental state was “supreme” throughout his time in office. But we all know that was a lie. Why would we listen to anything she has to say now?

When Congressional consultation takes place, there are always leaks. So, why not just tell Iran when things will happen–after two weeks of debate so they can move everything to safety? The Congresswoman makes no sense.

Besides, the Constitution gives the president the authority and power to keep the nation safe, not Congress. Congress declares war, but this was not war.

Robert Olson is “right on”. There are those in our government that leak security information and anything else, true or false’ that would damage the president’s administration. And I’m confident that Congresswoman from Texas, Jasmine Crockett, is one such individual.

Trump had the authority to launch the strike. Congress would debate this issue forever and we’d probably be into August before a decision was made. Congress cannot act quickly and this would lead to leaks. So, Iran, we’ll attack on August 12th 4:00 AM. Thank goodness we have a President who can make quick, bold decisions.

crockett should be doing something productive such as looking into how the officials of the TVA corps of engineers manage to get themselves paid millions per year rather than how to impeach Trump. The democrats will do anything to impede, block, destroy Trumps work and then after he is going will spend every moment barking about Trump’s failures when in fact the democrats will be the cause of them.

I’m no fan of liberals, and that’s stating it politely. BUT pelting God’s planet with bombs, NO MATTER THE REASON, can only lead to structural devastation for ALL of Earth. It is all just ONE CONNECTED PLANET. I’m fine with nations having borders and even walls – as they did in biblical times – but to destroy God’s magnificent, *perfectly crafted* planet is not just sinful, it’s genocidal.

She’s a nutmeg! All she does is run her mouth to get attention. I guess that’s how she got elected, by talking good game. What has she done for Texas, or our country? Nothing! Wake up Texas!! But, then, we have several “kids” in our government who know nothing about the Constitution or how the government works.

Where else than in America can anybody spout off about decisions the executive branch does when the individuals quite it a violation of some law or article in the constitution when they don’t even know what the law and/or article actually states. thee are many ways to show how uneducated and basically stupid some americans are.
I guess we should be releived that not very many ever get elected to an important postition within government where they can run amuck.
