January 1, Teen Carjacker Exposed by Parents: Shocking Doorbell Video Captures Family’s Terror

A 14-year-old boy from Jackson, Mississippi was turned in by his own parents after they recognized him in a viral carjacking video. The disturbing incident took place in May and left a local family traumatized.

Upon seeing media coverage of the crime, the teen’s parents brought him to the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office. The heinous act involved armed carjackers shooting at a woman, her adult children, and her grandchildren in their own driveway.

Doorbell camera footage of the crime shows Heather Allen and one of her sons dodging bullets. Her daughter is yanked from the driver’s seat of the sedan. The suspects also pointed a gun at Allen’s other son.

Thankfully, Allen’s two young grandchildren were rescued from the backseat before the criminals drove off with the vehicle. The car was found abandoned just two blocks away.

The 14-year-old was taken into custody and transported to the Jackson Police Department. He was charged with armed carjacking and six counts of aggravated assault.

Authorities are still in pursuit of a second suspect involved in the crime. The terrifying experience has left Allen wanting to leave the area she had only recently moved to.

“I’m not sleeping. My oldest son, his anxiety is through the roof — he’s even scared. My daughter, she has shock, but they’re safe,” she told WAPT.

A GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of Allen and her family to help them relocate to “a more civilized area.”

one would hope that this kid using a gun to commit this crime will charged as an adult, not as a juvenile who penalty will be a slap on wrist for level of crime. Being charged as an adult he will face a punishment and MIGHT LEARN A LESSON

Hopefully there is an American and not a Woke Dem DA and judge there in this very heavily black city. Violent crime is 85% black according to FBI stats (and they may understate it). So living there (like Baltimore, Chicago, D.C., etc. etc.) is never going to be civilized. At least, in this case, the black parents did the right thing instead of the usual “mah baby din do nuffin” excuse. I would bet that 80% of blacks in the USA are good folks who are being reputationally slimed by the tribal “you owe me” 20%ers. Too bad. I have worked with several blacks who were quality, upstanding folks.

Unfortunately I can tell that this woman is not a candidate for buying a “high capacity” 9mm and having the composure and attitude to carry or use it effectively.

Citizens, you need to be armed. There is no rational reason why these thugs are still alive. armed victim resistance is only way to stop our out of control crime problem
